Coordinated School Health
is an effective approach to connect education and

PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, and SOCIAL health.

CSH improves children’s health and their capacity to learn through the support of families, communities, and the schools working together.

Stewart County Coordinated School Health began as one of ten pilot programs in 2001 with the Tennessee Department of Education through support from the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
